The Weil Family Photographs were donated by Andrew L. Weil, grandson of A. Leo Weil. The collection includes photographs of A. Leo Weil, his wife Cassie Ritter, and his son Ferdinand T. Weil. Many of the images were taken at the Weil farm in Stafford County, Virginia. Also included are photographs from the early 1990s that document the still extant homes and business buildings inhabited by the Weil family over the course of the late 1800s and early 1900s in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Titusville, Pennsylvania; and Charlotte County, Virginia. These include photographs of the A. Leo Weil house at 5931 Howe Street in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, which has been expanded and converted into condominiums.
